Warm greetings from the “Society for Education and Research on Snoring and Sleep Apnoea”!

It gives us great pleasure to officially announce the ‘Calcutta Sleep Workshop 2024’ to be held on 20th & 21st July 2024 at AIIMS, Kalyani campus.

There is a rapid progress in the field of sleep apnoea treatment worldwide in last few years. The new developments are not confined to a single branch of medical fraternity and sleep medicine is now a completely independent sub-speciality globally.

Hands-on training is a big gap everywhere in the field of obstructive sleep apnoea management. Residents and consultants both miss out on practical hands on training, in terms of OSA surgery, sleep endoscopy practical hands-on training in OT as it is not included in the current curriculum.

The purpose of ‘Calcutta Sleep Workshop 2024’ is to update students, fellows and consultants on the latest developments in the field of obstructive sleep apnoea management and impart confidence in handling such patients.

We are glad to announce that this conference format will be the first of its kind in Eastern India. The Scientific program is power packed and stalwarts from all over the country will be joining us for this academic feast.

We are expecting to see you all 'Sleep lovers' who will be upholding this branch in future.
